Representative Work (From LiveJournal)

The friend I live together with these days, he is a big Coldplay fan, or I can just say, he is a big Chris fan, so he's got as his ring tone, always . So this morning, I was waken up again because of the special vocal of Chris, "and it was all yellow", kind of wanna die, and at the same time, I was thinking about a issue, which is called "Representative Work"

When every time you wanna introduce a new musician or writer to someone else, you may say words like " That mayday, who wrote the song blahblahblah" so this may be the representative work of Mayday, at least, from perspective of you. I kind of do not like representative work after they become the representative work, because, will there still be any senses if the fact has already become "Musician = Representative work", just like what Thom Yorke said, they hate to play in the concert, every time when they perform, every time when people request them to play the song, this is really disgusting. Isn't it?
